Meet the Speakers
Dr. Torah Hunt
Torah teaches biochemistry, cell biology, genetics and immunology at the University of Alberta. Torah has been a superstar MCAT prep instructor since 2006 and she has helped thousands of students excel on the MCAT.
Her teaching abilities have also been enhanced by a second career as the CBC Radio One National Science columnist, where each week she gets to talk about all the latest and greatest science stories.
Dr. Chansey Veinotte
Chansey is a 4th-year medical residency fellow in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He completed his medical degree at Dalhousie University in 2020.
Prior to this Chansey managed an oncology research lab and obtained a Master’s degree in Pediatric Cancer Biology. Given his experience with medical school admission panels and committees, along with previously being an applicant himself, Chansey knows how to successfully prepare for the MMI and provide you with the essential information and guidance to succeed yourself.
