How does the score guarantee actually work?
We guarantee a specific score improvement based on where you begin:
- If your starting baseline is 500 or higher, your guaranteed score is 515 or higher.
- If your starting baseline is below 500, we guarantee a 15-point increase on your score.
We’ll lock in your baseline before day one of the course through our diagnostic exam or an official AAMC score report from the last six months.
What do I need to do to keep my guarantee active?
Before the course starts, you’ll tackle three simple onboarding steps: set your baseline score, fill out your student profile, and hold a preliminary meeting with your coach. Once the course is underway, keeping your guarantee active comes down to three key habits:
- Attend all of your 1-on-1 coaching sessions.
- Complete your weekly readings, classes, and homework.
- Do 8 full-length exams and send review logs to your coach.
When should I take my official MCAT and send in my score?
Your official MCAT must be taken between 14 days and 90 days after your final day of class. Waiting at least 14 days (21 is the sweet spot) gives you time for multiple 3-day sprints of practice exams, reviews, and targeted practice. Waiting longer than 90 days increases the risk of forgetting key concepts and strategies. Afterwards, simply send us your official score report within 14 days of its release date.
What happens if I stick to the plan but fall short of my score?
If you put in the work but don’t hit your target score, you get to choose one of three ways for us to make it right:
- Refund: Get your tuition back, minus the cost of third-party subscriptions, materials and 1-on-1 sessions you’ve already used.
- Free Retake: Re-enroll in the 515+ course for a second round at zero cost.
- Tune-Up: Get 16 1-on-1 tutoring boosters with lead instructors plus 4 strategy sessions with a head coach to get you ready for your next attempt.
If I choose a tuition refund, why are some costs non-refundable?
While we’re happy to return your course tuition, we can’t recoup the costs of third-party subscriptions, physical materials, or 1-on-1 sessions you’ve already used. If you opt for a refund, we simply deduct the expenses for these items – calculated using our discounted bulk rates plus a small admin fee – and you get to keep all of your subscriptions and study materials.
