Dr. Matthew Ward [BSc, MSc, DPSM, MD, CCFP] is a family physician at the Eagle Creek Medical Clinic in Victoria (BC) and an executive member of the Victoria Medical Society. He is a UVic alumnus, where he completed his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Diploma in Public Sector Management. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Calgary and post-graduate training in Family Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston (ON).
Matt has been an outstanding MCAT prep instructor for over 10 years. He also has a first-rate understanding of the medical school admission process in Canada and is eager to share his knowledge with pre-med students to help them navigate this complex and arduous process.
Matt has two first author research publications, the later focusing on access to emergency room services by primary care diabetic patients.
